And finally, some local Newcastle friends Mandy and Lauren are running a SCRAPBOOKING FUNDRAISER FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY...read all about it HERE!! I have known both the girls for a several years as I often taught them in scrapbook classes. Their reason for organising this fundraising event is Lisa..who is a close friend to the girls and like a sister to Mandy.

I feel like I also know Lisa a little as Mandy often scrapbooked photos of her during classes! Lisa was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy as an adult and after having her two children. You can read her story here
