(this post is for Donna! Who gently reminded me it was about time for a blog update:)
Well, there's kits and felt and fabric and bath tea bags and baubles and more baubles and another truckload of baubles and bells and beads and bangles and did I mention baubles..all over the house at the moment. Kits have still been flying out the door at a remarkable rate!!! It's been incredible!
The Christmas Spectacular officially kicks off on Friday which is very exciting. We have LOADS in store for you all. Can't wait to share!! Not too late to book in at all! All info will remain available right through 'til Christmas Eve. Plenty of time to come and join in the fun and festivities. Book in here!! Everyone welcome!!
BIG day here yesterday.
Huge in fact!
Capri got her ears pierced!!!! woo hoo. This kid has desperately wanted her ears pierced for as long as I can remember. And on a bit of a whim we called into the local Chemist after school and got them done yesterday! She was very brave. Although she was packing it!! Not the best of photos...but wanted to show Aunty Debbie and the family. She did actually get BOTH ears done even though the photo doesn't show that!!
Capri's also having a birthday party early December.
The invites went out yesterday.
Everythings been crazy here for the past few weeks - not just with the Spectacular but with a few other big projects I have on the go so the invites were quickly stitched up before the school run as I hadn't been able to finish them! So there I was, as you do, at 8.30am before school, machine stitching all the invites while I yelled at the kids to keep getting ready!!!! Miraculously the kids arrived at school just as the bell went!!!!!!!!! And I was able to add a big fat tick next to Capri's Invites on my never ending to-do list.
here they are:
She's having a craft (scrapping, stamping, beading and some other things) party which sounded like a great idea several weeks ago!! But now the reality has set in and I have a lot to organise! But it will be fine...
We had our information meeting for Jamison last week for high school next year. I wish time would slow just a little so I could catch up because last time I looked, Jamison was in about year 3 wasn't he..not year 6 heading to high school next year!! I still get a shock when he comes bounding out of class each afternoon and is almost as tall as me! All of his end of year activities and ceremonies start soon...and I feel sad I will have only one child in primary next year!!
I am still loving Idol. Sad that Carl went. Happy that Matt is in the grand final. Hope he wins. And hooked, thanks to Janelle and Julie on that new reality show about the Farmers..which is on tonight..I'm such a sucker!
I haven't stopped all day and looked up from my computer and couldn't believe it was almost time for the school run! I have been living and breathing this Christmas Spectacular now for the past few weeks. It's been all consuming. And today registrations opened for the four workshops. Very exciting.
What a response. THANK YOU everyone who has booked in so far. The response has been brilliant!! Registrations opened at 9.30am and the first order came through at about 9.31am..so a little early bird RAK is heading out to Leeanne O'Connor's place sometime soon!!
The Support Team girls have been BUSY too creating additional samples for everything PLUS each of them, Mardi, Janelle, Helen, Yvette and Julie have all created an exclusive little step by step project each. So much to share with you.
Well I didn't know how the kits and products would be received because I don't usually do the kit thing!
I didn't want to do kits for each and every project because I wanted participants to be able to make a lot of the ideas from supplies they already have on hand. So my aim was to do a few kits and offer some items that you may not already have in your supplies or may find a little difficult to source.
And everything is almost sold out. Hooly dooley!!
I am getting a truckload of baubles and folly bells which will arrive early next week and once I sort out the felt kits this weekend I may well have more of those to add to the shop as well. PLUS this weekend I will upload some more kits!!
For those of you who have already ordered, everything will be packed this weekend and *hopefully* sent out Monday.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Oh and it's November already..time for another blog banner..feels like I just uploaded the last one!!
