I've been busy working on some stuff. Happy birthday things. Fresh projects. Will share soon. The @Home site has been buzzing behind the scenes...we're getting ready for our big party.
So backtrack a few days..I went along to my best friend Margaret's mum's Australia's Biggest Morning Tea last Thursday. Wow. What a great turn out. Lots of people. HUGE amount of delicious food. And great company. AND most importantly, we raised quite a lot of money over the couple of hours the morning tea ran. In fact Mrs M tripled her anticipated target!! Which was great.
I have known Margaret and her family for a very long time. In fact when we moved to Newcastle from Parkes waaaay back when I was in year 5, they were the first family my family met through the local church. And Margaret and I were in the same class together and so began our friendship. And our families are still friends all these years later. Which is pretty cool.
I have always gotten on with all three of the girls..Margaret and her two sisters Tracey and Theresa. Tracey is the one who introduced me to the women in business breakfast group I am meeting with every six weeks. And she has been a great support to me with my business(es) over the years:)
It's rare we are all together at once so I made sure I had some photos taken... here we are...
And contrary to what my mother thought I AM NOT standing on a box in this one...I'm just looking mighty tall:)
So then we have had the usual netball, footy, after school things and a mammoth project for Jamison's religion class which took up a considerable amount of time for both of us. This kid has more assignments than Brandt ever did.
And yesterday I taught my class for Kim. Considering the invite only went out Monday and they had little notice, we had a great turn up of girls!! Which was fabulous!!!
Here's most of us, a couple are missing...I had forgotten to take a photo until the very end when most were packing up to go home so those without layouts REALLY did make something!!!
A great group of girls and it was fun to be teaching face to face again. In fact I have been booking in a few face to face workshops coming up over the next few months which I will share here once I finalise some dates and things..
And today, I am off to Spotlight for some last minute bits and pieces and then home to work, work, work and get some projects finished and uploaded...
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.
