Not much blogging time this week. Too many deadlines at the moment:) WHY is everything always due at once!

We're off to the Hunter Catholic Schools Cluster Festival tonight. VERY surprisingly Jamison is involved in the concert. This is the boy who DREADS dancing or singing at school - anything where he is on public display. We were shocked he decided to be part of this years concert.
It means wearing black pants, silver shirt and groovy beaded necklace and dancing to the Bee Gees' Stayin Alive! it means wearing his hair super slicked with gel! It means dancing in front of 1400 people at the Panthers Club in town along with many other Hunter schools. And it means he has given up many of his lunchtimes last term for rehearsals and a Sunday for more practise.
And now he's nervous. He told me this morning he didn't want to do it anymore. Um, bit late now.
So we are heading off in a few hours for our big night on the town. Again, no cameras! What is it with these places! Don't they KNOW we HAVE to capture EVERYTHING on film!
Other news: Brandt had a tick embedded in his back. Ouch. We couldn't remove it so it meant a trip to casuality and a local so the doc could dig it out. They are stubborn little things, those ticks!
And I'm teaching a day workshop at a funky store at Cooranbong. Stay tuned. I have some pics of the store I have to download and will post shortly..
