Thanks for all the well wishes!
I survived the dentist! Hated every minute but I'm home and swollen and on pain killers and minus two wisdom teeth:)))

The first of my I Remember classes started tonight!! Lots of fun. I LOVED hearing everyone's stories and memories as they talked about the older photos they had chosen and what they remembered.
I already have one layout through thats finished and it's gorgeous (hi Janine). I will set up a gallery in the morning and start loading the layouts in there.
Here's my one and only layout in this latest, hot off the press Scrapboxx newsletter! Check out the newsletter here
Love this photo of the girls - same as the one in my new banner!! Thanks for looking..

I was back at Paper & Stuff in Cooranbong yesterday for a double workshop! Always fun and I am really starting to get to know the ladies well now. I love teaching out there! Always new stock to look at and such friendly girls. Poor Cath was sick so we were lucky to have Mel there to help me out all day!!
Lots of regulars and a few new faces too:) Simone was back with her delectable chocolate cookies!!!!!!! And Alison even came along as she was here visiting her mum so it was great to catch up with her again.
Here's the quiet, shy and retiring wall flowers up the back;O)
The girls were VERY busy bees and created two layouts and had enough supplies left to make this cute fridge magnet(we ran out of time for the magnet - it was a BUSY class plus we had to stop for our delicious lunch break!!! which again was ordered in and delivered for us!!).
I wished I had taken some photos of some of the layouts.
They were SO impressive and gorgeous!!
Each and every one of them. And everyone chose their colours and designs so well and had gorgeous photos!!
Alison might upload hers to her blog but I don't think any of the others own blogs:O(
So, here's my group photo - I do like to take a group shot of everyone:)))
So thankyou again to the Paper & Stuff girls. Look forward to seeing you again SOON:))

An update for the family:)
Here's Brandt.
Taken about 15mins ago proudly showing off his stitches(above his eye which is hard to see becuase of all his hair!) and bruising as well as his BEARD!! It's taken him quite a long time to grow it and he's very proud of it. But it had to come off. His school doesn't allow them to have facial hair and he's gotten away without being asked to remove it for a couple of weeks. But tonight was the night and it's now all shaved off. Much better:)
And Capri had her very FIRST HAIRCUT yesterday.
yes, I know she's seven and Janelle was horrified Capri had NEVER had a haircut ever, so off we went yesterday to my hairdresser Jayne's salon. Capri was beside herself with excitement as she has wanted her hair cut for months!! She wanted it cut to her shoulders. She hates her curls.
But I couldn't bring myself to let her. Not the very first hair cut. So here she is afterwards...um, ok, so not a lot actually came off but her ends are nice and neat now:)))
And a HUGE CONGRATS to my cous Kristy!!!!! yay - she got engaged to Bruce - finally:))))) Another family wedding - early next year. Here's Kristy between me and my sister with Kristy's sis Jacki on the left. Taken at our other cousin Trudi's wedding earlier this year.
Thats about all our news. Off to watch the last bit of Kath & Kim:)

Just to clarify - the HOUR OF POWER class is PART TWO and totally different from my first Hour of Power workshop! The sample will be uploaded tomorrow now, as it's too dark to get a decent shot for the sneak peek.

Workshop One - I Remember...
Ok, grab out that old shoebox of photos! If you're like me you will have piles of old photos just awaiting your attention!! Those old photos you haven't sorted through in ages! Now, choose a photo.
I found an old gem the other day. Of the boys. Before Capri was born and they looked so little and so cute and SO young!! And I started remembering things. How Brandt used to LOVE Power Rangers and how Jamison would watch Postman Pat's Alphabet video over and over and over which would drive us all crazy!!
So I got thinking and I decided the theme of this online workshop would be 'I Remember...'
Now you can make your page about you, your kids, family members or even your pet:) You can use a photo from years ago, months ago or even just a few weeks. Our project includes lots of ribbon, machine and hand stitching (only if you want to:) and a focus on our journaling. I will include journaling prompts and a template.
Here's the details:
2 HOUR SINGLE LAYOUT CLASS (both 8.5x11 AND 12x12in samples and instructions will be available)
THURSDAY 29 JUNE 7-9PM EST
WEDNESDAY 5 JULY 12NOON - 2PM EST

Workshop two - Hour of Power PART TWO!!

*1st and 20th person to book in will receive ONE class for FREE!

More drama in the house.
Brandt came off his bike late yesterday afternoon (he was doing a 360o spin on his bike he tells me, and hit his face on the neighbours driveway!) I don't know why they can't just RIDE the bike instead of making jumps and spinning around and doing damn tricks!
Soooo, he ended up with a trip to the hospital and three stitches above his eyebrow plus bruising and swelling on his cheek bone as well as hurting his shoulder.
So he will look VERY attractive with all his injuries when we have our much anticipated photo shoot with Rach Greig next week!
Online workshop update - check back at 2.30pm :)
